Why some courses Badges, Certificates and Points are awarded, but some courses Only badges, points are awarded in the Microsoft Educator Community, MEC?

Step 1:

Training- certificate- courses

https://education.microsoft.com/badges-points-certificates/certificates

Step 2:

There is movement of the courses from the MEC platform to the Preview platform.

The courses are done on the preview platform, only badges are rewarded.

(So we are assigning only the badge for the course done)

a). MEC platform will be transitioned to the Preview Platform.

As per the transition of the courses from the MEC (https://education.microsoft.com) to the MEC preview (https://preview.education.microsoft.com)
only the badge is assigned on the completion of the course-https://preview.education.microsoft.com/course/d2468821/overview.

b) Currently, MEC platform course- Badges, Certificates and Points are awarded.

Why I can't create a lesson and redeem promo code in MEC?

Problems and solutions for a beginner in Microsoft educator community (MEC). 

1) Why I can't create a lesson in MEC?

As per engineering folks since "create lesson plan" option has been largely misutilized for creating SPAM content hence it has been blocked for all. They are still reevaluating this capability and won’t allow uploads any time sooner. So can't create a lesson plan now.

Content Creation-- Content creation is currently restricted to the educator.

2) Where do promo codes get entered MEC?

Following are the complete details.

1. On the link-https://education.microsoft.com/main/promocode
Educator can redeem the promo code.

2. You need to get the promo code to redeem the promo code.
You can get the promo code via scheduling the skype sessions /interaction with the other educator/trainer.
